The Portuguese star is usually the center of attraction when it comes to promotional material but he has not featured in this launch, which sparks fears over his future.
Ronaldo no doubt does have a mega-money sponsorship deal with Nike, though his involvement in the previous kit launches suggest this won't be a problem for him.
The 33-year-old cast doubts on his future after speaking on his exit on the night in which Madrid won the Champions League final against Liverpool.
But it remains to be seen if he would leave the club since 2009 from Manchester United.
