Liverpool under-23s manager Neil Critchley expects Harry Wilson to go and test himself on loan in the very near future.
Wilson, 20 has scored five goals in three games in Premier League 2 so far this season and his performances have been impressive.
Despite his fine form, he has still not managed to get into Jurgen Klopp’s first-team thinking, with the likes of Ben Woodburn ahead of him in the pecking order.
And Critchley expects Wilson to go elsewhere to experience playing first-team football soon.
“I think at some point he will go into a senior environment and play games when he is going to get tested both physically and mentally,” Critchley told the Liverpool Echo.

“He’s going to have to do that [in games] twice a week to see if he can cope with the demands of men’s football.
“I’m sure if Harry keeps playing well for us between now and January then maybe he will have some more options then.”
Wilson scored 12 goals and created seven assists in 18 Premier League 2 games last season and appeared once in the first team in the FA Cup win over PLymouth.
