Chelsea star Giroud reacts to Courtois moving to Real Madrid 
Chelsea forward Olivier Giroud has reacted that his teammate will be ‘sad’ to see Thibaut Courtois dethroned Premier League Champions to Real Madrid. 
The 26-year-old goalkeeper has one year remaining on his current contract at Stamford Bridge with the Belguim international on the brink of a £35 million move to the Santiago Bernabeu. Courtois has attempted to force through his move to La Liga giant this week by refusing to report back to pre-season training with the Blues.But 2018 FIFA World Cup winner admits he would prefer the Courtois stay.Giroud said via Metro. "It’s true that we have not seen him at training,’ said Giroud.

"If he leaves it’s going to be sad for us because he is a great keeper.’ Giroud also hopes that Eden Hazard will remain at Stamford Bridge. "We want to keep him at Chelsea.
