Earlier today, Sky Italia reported that a deal for Malcom is around £36m with bonuses and both clubs have reached an agreement.

Malcom is expected to arrive in Rome on Monday evening to undergo his medical.

Bordeaux confirmed the deal with a statement from its official Twitter Account which read: 'FC Girondins de Bordeaux informs you that an agreement has been reached, subject to the signature of the administrative documents, with AS Roma for the transfer of Malcom.'

Malcom has established a reputation as one of the most exciting young attackingtalents in Europe since joining Bordeaux from Corinthians in 2016, scoring 23 goals and providing 16 assists in 96 total appearances across all competitions.

Arsenal, Liverpool, Everton and Inter Milan had been linked with the Ligue 1 star but Everton meanwhile were set to hold talks with Bordeaux president Stephane Martin over the player last week.

However, they played now their interest and are now close to the £44m signing of another talented Brazilian in Watford's Richarlison

Roma have already been very busy in the transfer market this summer, recruiting Javier Pastore, Justin Kluivert, Davide Santon, Ante Coric, William Bianda, Bryan Cristante, Nicolo Zaniolo, Antonio Mirante, Ivan Marcano and Daniel Fuzato.
