President Muhammadu Buhari has declared for 2019 presidential election at the ongoing National Executive Committee meeting of the All Progressives Congress.
According to Bashir Ahmad, the presential adviser on new media, President Muhammadu Buhari has today, formally announced he will seek re-election in 2019.
The President made the announcement this Monday morning at a meeting of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) National Executive Committee(NEC) which is holding in Abuja.
While the president has long indicated he will seek a second term of four years, this is his first public announcement.
